There are currently two books about the group that I know of. The first "Warpath " is a reprint of the group book first published for the group itself in 1946 and just now

available from Schiffer Military History, Telephone (610 593-1777). It gives an insight of what the group went through when the feelings were still fresh in the participants minds.

Because it is a reprint of a very rare book the quality of the photos leaves something to be desired. But this book is a must have as is the next book "Warpath Across the Pacific".

Warpath Across the Pacific

This book by Lawrence Hickey is the ultimate history of the 345th Bombardment Group It is loaded with quality photos of most of the missions. Also it has a number of color

illustrations of the squadrons aircraft including the Tin-Liz. The book is in it's sixth or seventh printing. International Research and Publishing.
